Overview

The PDP Product Recommendations feature displays AI-powered product suggestions directly on your product detail pages. When a shopper views a product, Nobi automatically generates a scrollable carousel of complementary items that pair well with what they're viewing.

This beta feature uses Nobi's AI engine to understand product relationships and surface relevant recommendations, helping increase cross-sells and create a more engaging shopping experience.

How It Works

Automatic Product Detection

The recommendations panel automatically detects the current product being viewed on the page. It can accept an explicit product ID or automatically detect from the Shopify page context.

Intelligent Recommendations

Nobi's AI engine analyzes the product being viewed and returns 5-25 complementary product variants displayed in a scrollable carousel. The system considers:

Product attributes (category, style, price point)

Catalog relationships

Product complementarity

Interactive Carousel

Shoppers can navigate recommendations through:

Drag/Swipe: Touch or mouse drag gestures

Arrow Buttons: Navigation arrows on carousel edges

Wheel Scroll: Horizontal scroll wheel support

The carousel includes visual edge fades to indicate scrollable content and is fully optimized for mobile devices.

Beta Product Set Up
