Suggestion Pills Launch Component
Suggestion Pills are AI-generated prompts that appear as clickable buttons on your site. Each pill contains a contextual suggestion like "Find other suede Chelsea boots" or "Does this run true to size?" that opens Nobi's chat modal with that prompt pre-filled.

How It Works
Add the suggestion pills element to your page and Nobi automatically generates relevant prompts based on the page context (what product the customer is viewing, what collection they're browsing, etc.). When customers click a pill, the chat modal opens with that suggestion already entered. Pills can vary between cross-sell, Q&A, or custom-types as requested.
When to Use Suggestion Pills
Product pages - Show prompts like "What sizes are available?" or "Show me similar items" near product images
Homepage - Engage visitors with prompts like "Show me new arrivals" or "Find gifts under $50" near your hero section
Collection pages - Guide discovery with "Help me find the perfect dress" or "Show me bestsellers"
Anywhere you want to prompt engagement - Pills work as conversation starters that show customers what they can ask Nobi
Suggestion pills work particularly well when placed high on the page, before customers have started browsing or searching. They suggest ways to use Nobi that customers might not think of on their own.
How Pills Are Generated
Pills are created by Nobi's AI based on:
- The current page (product, collection, homepage)
- Product details (title, description, attributes)
- Common customer questions and use cases
- Your catalog and available products
The prompts are designed to either help customers with the current product (questions about fit, size, care) or discover related products (similar items, complementary products, alternatives).
What Customers See
Pills are contextual to where they appear:
On a dress product page:
- "What sizes are available?"
- "Show me similar dresses"
- "Does this run true to size?"
On a shoes collection page:
- "Find running shoes"
- "Show me bestsellers"
- "What's on sale?"
On the homepage:
- "Help me find a gift"
- "Show me new arrivals"
- "What's trending?"
Mobile Experience
Suggestion pills adapt to mobile screens automatically. On narrow screens, the single-row carousel works particularly well because customers can swipe through prompts without scrolling.
Styling
Pills can be styled to match your brand using CSS. You can customize colors, fonts, sizes, borders, spacing, and hover effects.
For complete styling options, see the Suggestion Pills Technical Reference.
