Search Quick Links
Search Quick Links are fixed merchant-defined links that can appear in the Nobi chat modal. They help visitors jump to high-value pages without waiting for a generated answer or searching again.
What They Are
A quick link has a label and a URL. When enabled, the links can appear as persistent options in the chat or search experience so visitors can open common destinations quickly.
Use Search Quick Links for pages that are broadly useful, such as shipping information, returns, size guides, appointment booking, financing, store locations, or buying guides.
Where To Configure Them
Configure Search Quick Links from Account > Settings > Search settings. Add the label and URL for each link, then enable the links when they are ready to show.
Changes autosave. After editing a link, wait for the save confirmation before refreshing or leaving the page.
Where They Appear
Search Quick Links appear inside the Nobi chat modal or search experience when the feature is enabled. They are meant to be easy entry points that stay available across visitor questions.
They do not replace search results, product results, or generated answers. They give visitors a shortcut to pages the merchant already knows are useful.
How They Differ From Suggestion Pills
- Search Quick Links open URLs.
- Suggestion pills submit or prepare prompts for Nobi.
- Search Quick Links are fixed navigation aids.
- Suggestion pills are conversational starters and can be tied to specific components or contexts.
Use quick links when the visitor should go to a known page. Use suggestion pills when the visitor should ask Nobi a question or start a guided search.
Good Link Labels
Use short labels that clearly describe the destination. Avoid vague labels like Learn more unless the surrounding context makes the destination obvious.
Examples:
- Shipping and delivery
- Returns and exchanges
- Size guide
- Store locations
- Book an appointment
Testing
After enabling Search Quick Links, open the chat modal and confirm each link appears with the expected label. Click each link and confirm it opens the intended URL. If a link should not appear, disable it or remove it from the settings list.
