Triggered Elements

Triggered elements are dashboard-controlled components that Nobi can show after a configured visitor moment, such as page load, time on page, scroll depth, idle behavior, returning visitor, search engine visitor, LLM referral, or exit intent. Developers do not place these elements directly in templates. Install the Nobi script once, then configure each triggered element in Website UX > UX Elements > Triggered.

Triggered component references

Use these references for components controlled from the Nobi dashboard, not copied into page layouts.
  • Floating Bar
    - persistent bottom chat bar, config key floatingChatBar
  • Popup
    - exit-intent popup, config key modal

Shared behavior

Each triggered element can be activated independently and configured with its own trigger, schedule, visible page rules, hidden page rules, and element-specific display options.
Floating Bar and Compact Button are launcher-style elements and do not consume the one non-exit prompt per session budget. Message Pill and Message Card are non-exit prompts and share that session limit. Popup has independent exit-intent session and cooldown behavior.
