Launch Components Overview
Nobi entry points are managed from Website UX. Integrated elements are custom elements developers place in the site layout. Triggered elements are dashboard-controlled elements Nobi can show when their trigger, page rules, and schedule match. Both open the same Nobi chat experience.
Integrated elements
Integrated elements require the Nobi script on the page where the custom element is used. Use the dashboard to copy snippets, open the playground, and view setup docs for each element.
- Search Bar: Add Nobi-powered site search in headers, search pages, or other places visitors already search.
- Ask AI Button: Add a compact call-to-action that opens Nobi from navigation, product actions, or help areas.
- Suggestion Pills Row: Show a row of suggested prompts that visitors can click to open Nobi with a prepared question.
- Single Suggestion Pill: Add one curated prompt for a focused content block, callout, or product moment.
- JavaScript API: Open Nobi programmatically when you need a custom interaction that is not covered by a prebuilt element.
Dashboard-controlled triggered elements
Triggered elements are configured in the dashboard under Website UX > Triggered. They are not copied into page templates. Each element can be activated, configured, and deactivated independently.
Floating Bar: A full-width launcher that can appear when its trigger fires and can be limited by page rules, schedule, and close behavior.
Compact Button: A smaller launcher that can appear when its trigger fires, often for pages where a full bar would be too prominent.
Message Pill, Message Card, and Popup: Prompt-style triggered elements for visitor moments like time on page, scroll depth, idle behavior, returning visitor, search engine visitor, LLM visitor, or exit intent.
Page rules are configured per triggered element. Allowed paths narrow where the element can appear, while hidden paths exclude sensitive areas such as checkout or admin pages.
Use the Component playground to preview triggered elements. Use the Triggered elements page to configure when they appear and set them live.
Install and setup flow
Install the Nobi script once from the Install Nobi page. The page shows install state and routes merchants toward Integrated elements first, then Triggered elements for behavior-based display.
Integrated elements use an Add to site code-copy flow, links to the Component playground, and setup docs for each component. Triggered elements are configured in the dashboard and set live from their setup dialog.
Old global page-path visibility banner references should be ignored. Visibility rules now belong to each integrated or triggered element setup where they affect that element only.
